Answer by Akash Shah

To address your question about EseeCloud, it seems you are having trouble deleting an old system to add a new monitor and camera setup. Here are some suggestions to resolve this issue:

  1. Ensure Administrative Access: Make sure you have administrative privileges on your Windows account, as some actions might require elevated permissions.

  2. Check Program Settings: Some programs have built-in restrictions or require certain steps to delete or reset configurations. Look into the EseeCloud software settings or user guide to see if there's a specific procedure for removing or resetting a system.

  3. Software Update: Ensure that your EseeCloud software is up-to-date. Sometimes issues are resolved in newer versions or patches.

  4. Contact Support: If you're unable to resolve the issue with the above steps, consider reaching out to EseeCloud customer support for more specific instructions or troubleshooting.

  5. Uninstall and Reinstall: As a last resort, uninstalling and reinstalling the software may reset its settings, allowing you to start fresh with your new monitor and camera setup.

By following these steps, you may find a solution to your issue with deleting the old system in EseeCloud.

It works fine when I am in the house connected to wifi but if I am outside using my phone cellular data can not view the cameras

Rajesh Gupta
Answer by Rajesh Gupta

The issue you're experiencing with EseeCloud not working over mobile data could be due to a few reasons:

  1. App Permissions: Check if the app has the necessary permissions to access mobile data. Ensure that data usage is enabled in your phone settings for EseeCloud.

  2. Network Settings: It might be a network setting issue. Make sure your mobile data is working properly and that you're not connecting via restrictions (like a data saver mode or an app that manages bandwidth usage).

  3. Firewall and Router Settings: Sometimes, the router or network settings at home might allow connectivity only over Wi-Fi. Ensure that the app’s remote viewing option is configured properly.

  4. App and Camera Configuration: Check if your camera and app are set up for remote access, and make sure all necessary settings are enabled for viewing over the internet.

  5. Software Update: Make sure both the EseeCloud app and your camera firmware are up to date. Updates often fix bugs and improve connectivity.

  6. Service Provider: Occasionally, your mobile service provider might block certain ports or services needed for the app to function properly.

Try these steps, and if the issue persists, you might want to consult the app’s customer support for more specialized assistance.

EseeCloud for pc (any version) will not display live video but I can hear live audio on any selected camera. I can download unseen video/audio and play it back using VLC as a file. It will not payback using the EseeCloud playback feature. I have a brand new HP laptop running Win 11 Pro and this is the only program that fails. I have tried ALL the usual stuff to include a new install of windows 11, what a fracking waste of time. The vendor, Hiseeu, tells me that since few people use the pc application, they no longer provide support. Sucks to be a new customer. They sent me a website that will allow me to view live video but there is NO DOWNLOAD button to save live video. The website for my purposes is useless. Hiseeu recommended that I keep using my old HP laptop running win 10. Thanks for nothing. I believe it boils down to a codec problem, the video feed is getting to the laptop, but windows can't/won't decode it. The Hiseeu NVR uses H265 to stream video and where it goes from there is not to my screen. I have been in contact with HP, Intel, and Microsoft....I'm not holding my breath. Maybe this will help someone out.

Yup, the ol' NTDLL.DLL screw up. The phone app (android) works great for me. I considered running an emulator under the app but I decided that I really don't want brick my new laptop. So, forget that.
So, like a lot of you I'm in the middle of a martian probe and I ain't happy.
I wonder why Win 11 Pro won't let me run EseeCloud using the compatibilty feature as Win 10, oh that's right, WINDOWS 10 is not an option. Way to go Microsoft.

Answer by Swati Dubey

The issue you are experiencing with EseeCloud on Windows 11 Pro compared to Windows 10 likely relates to compatibility problems with either the application itself or the codecs it relies on. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the issue:

  1. Compatibility Mode: Try running the program in compatibility mode for Windows 10. Right-click on the EseeCloud application shortcut, go to 'Properties', then 'Compatibility', and select 'Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 10'.

  2. Update Drivers: Ensure that your graphics and audio drivers are up to date with the latest versions from the manufacturer's website, as outdated drivers can cause display issues.

  3. Check Codecs: Since you mentioned a potential codec issue, consider installing a codec pack such as K-Lite Codec Pack to ensure the necessary video codecs are available on your Windows 11 system.

  4. Windows Features: Verify that all necessary Windows features (like media features) are enabled. Go to 'Control Panel' > 'Programs' > 'Turn Windows features on or off' and make sure media-related features are checked.

  5. Software Update: Ensure that you have the latest version of EseeCloud installed. If the vendor has stopped updating the application, you may need to look for alternative software compatible with your surveillance system.

  6. Virtual Machine: As a workaround, consider running a virtual machine on your Windows 11 laptop with a Windows 10 environment just for EseeCloud if you continue facing issues.

If none of these suggestions work, you may indeed have to follow Hiseeu's recommendation of using your old Windows 10 machine or search for alternative software solutions compatible with both your cameras and Windows 11.

I have the same issue. I download some videos, it finished, the download folder is empty.

But you can solve that easily by running Esee Cloud as admin. That will make the program be able to write the video files in the system folder.
